Cleaning the cooking chambers: tips and methods.
Cleaning the oven cooking chambers should be always performed at a safe temperature and never when the oven is hot!
Stainless steel or aluminised sheet metal surfaces should be cleaned with a soft, moistened cloth, possibly using a mild, non-abrasive detergent and being very careful not to drop it on surfaces in refractory material.
Prior to cleaning, remove any substantial deposits of grease gently with a spatula.
To keep surfaces always shiny and prevent rust, never use abrasive or corrosive detergents as they would remove the protective layer of aluminised sheet.
Do not use jets of water as water could penetrate into the electrical box and damage it.
