The cooking chambers in static ovens can reach 30cm in height. These chambers are suitable for cooking large  leavened products, medium-large sized loaves and quite tall baked products. The smallest chambers (18cm) are ideal for cooking pizzas, pizza slices, delicacies cooked on baking tray and other smaller products. In ventilated ovens the cooking chambers that contain the baking trays are very big. In these ovens it is important to consider the number of baking trays according to the amount of products you want to cook. The space between trays varies between 8 and 9.5cm, depending on the model.

The cooking chamber of a ventilated tunnel oven is 10 centimetres high. Care must be taken with the size of the food, as the ventilated tunnel oven cannot fit products that are too tall.
