Host Milan is an event that makes the vast and colorful universe of hospitality beat. As in previous editions, HOST will be the scene of two important international high pastry challenges: Cake Designers World Championship FIPGC (19-20 October) and World Trophy Of Pastry Ice Cream And Chocolate FIPGC (21-22 October), organized by the International Federation of Pastry, Ice Cream and Chocolate.For the World Trophy, the teams formed by three members will have to face trials of great precision: chocolate sculpture with chocolates, sculpture with an ice-cream portion, a sugar sculpture with a modern cake. For the Cake Designers Championship the challenge is individual and includes tasting and cake design trials.

A wide-ranging challenge involving 5 continents and 34 different nationalities, including Italy, winner of the 2017 edition. The theme chosen for this year, “Art and national tradition”, is very inspiring and opens up to a multitude of visions and interpretations that the professionals in the competition will have the daunting task of imagining first in the smallest details, and then transposing into an infallible pastry creation.

As a technical sponsor, we will support the FIPGC competitors with our leading equipment: multi-purpose, precise, intuitive ovens. In fact, our Teorema Polis is a static electric oven for pastry with the ideal characteristics for the most daring pastry chefs and cake designers. On request, each chamber can be equipped with a vaporizer and a refractory floor, designed for cooking directly on the bottom. For the cooking of products that rise upward, it is possible to request the 30 cm high chamber. The digital control panel offers a range of numerous functions and the possibility of inserting and storing up to 20 cooking programs. At Host, Zanolli will reveal the further evolutions of the Teorema Polis board that amplify its optimization potential.

To seal this collaboration, we will have the opportunity to host Cesare Sciambarruto in our pastry lab during HOST, as representative of the Italian Excellence team, for a live demonstration of FIPGC talents.
